Grotta Perciata

A steep tufa ridden crag with some excellent routes and a beautiful view. The crag is not far from the main San Vito cliffs and is in the shade most of the day; This is useful on hot days, also many of the routes stay dry in the rain, but it is cold in winter.

Directions

Drive South from San Vito past the turning to the main crags and the El Bahiri camping and take the 2nd left towards Macari. Drive up this steep straight road for about 600m until it turns to concrete, and after a further 200m park opposite a gate. The crag is clearly visible. From here follow a faint track that starts at a cairn left of the gate. The path can be very overgrown and hard work early in the year. About 20 minutes from the car.
